B2B SEO Agency for Companies Doing $500K to $2M+

B2B SEO Agency for Companies Doing $500K to $2M+

Most B2B SEO agencies sell you traffic. I sell you an asset.

I know the difference because I built one. I ran Contractor Training Center, an e-learning company where search was the growth engine. We ranked 360 keywords in the top three positions across 156 product pages. When I sold CTC to private equity, that search infrastructure was a material part of what the buyer was paying for.

That is the thing almost nobody in this industry can tell you honestly. I have been the owner carrying the risk, watching the pipeline, signing the checks. Then I sat on the other side of a diligence table while a buyer valued what we had built.

Leedly is the B2B SEO agency I would have hired.

Who this is for

You are a good fit if:

  • You do $500K to $2M+ in revenue and sell to other businesses
  • Your deals take weeks or months to close, and more than one person signs off
  • Your total addressable market is measured in thousands of buyers, not millions
  • You are building toward an exit, a raise, or a valuation event, even if it is five years out

You are not a fit if you want cheap traffic, a monthly PDF full of vanity charts, or a twelve-month contract you cannot leave.

Why B2B SEO is a different job

Consumer SEO is a volume game. Rank for the big term, catch the flood, convert a fraction.

B2B does not work that way, and agencies that run the consumer playbook on a B2B company waste your money in a specific, predictable pattern. They chase the head term with the biggest number next to it, they win some traffic, and none of it turns into pipeline.

Here is what actually governs B2B search:

Your buyer is a committee. The person who searches is rarely the person who signs. An operations manager researches, a director shortlists, a CFO approves. Each one searches differently and needs a different page.

Volume is the wrong metric. I run a medical courier client operating across dozens of metros. Fewer than 400 discovery clicks a month. One of those clicks became a client now approaching $3,000 a week in accounts receivable, about $150,000 annualized, and it pulled the company into two new markets. One click. Any agency reporting on sessions would have called that a slow month.

The long tail is where the money is. The searches that close are specific, unglamorous, and low-volume. “Stat medical courier Jacksonville” beats “courier service” every time, and it is a tenth of the difficulty.

AI now sits between your buyer and your website. Your prospect asks ChatGPT for a shortlist before they ever open Google. If you are not in that answer, you are not in the deal.

What I actually do

Four things, in this order. No package tiers, no bundle you do not need.

1. Find the searches that carry money. I pull real demand data, not guesses. Search volume, keyword difficulty, cost per click, and what your competitors already rank for. Cost per click is the tell. When advertisers pay $143 for a click on a term, that is the market pricing the visitor for you.

2. Build the pages that own them. Comparison pages, geography pages, and problem pages, each one mapped to a specific buyer at a specific moment. For a national property tax appeal client, comparison pages against their biggest competitor now carry the single largest share of the site’s qualified traffic.

3. Fix what is quietly bleeding. Most B2B sites already rank for things they are not capturing. A page sitting at position 7 with a 0.5% click-through rate does not have a ranking problem, it has a title problem, and that is a far cheaper fix than building anything new. On one client, rewriting titles and meta descriptions across the comparison and county pages moved site-wide click-through from 0.92% to 1.20% and average position from 8.2 to 7.8 in a single month, while traffic grew 52%. Sites almost always dilute as they grow. That one concentrated.

4. Get you cited by the AI layer. Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini are answering your buyer’s question before your homepage gets a chance. Our AI SEO agency work targets exactly that. One medical courier client now appears in over 90% of Google AI Mode answers for their core service term, usually in the top two, and in roughly 9 out of 10 ChatGPT answers for their highest-intent term. The property tax client is named by ChatGPT as one of only two sources it cites on “best property tax appeal service”.

What this looks like in practice

Three engagements, anonymized. Every number here is pulled from the July 2026 reports, not from memory. More on the results page.

A national property tax appeal firm. Thousands of pages, heavily competitive, entirely inbound-driven. In a single month, clicks from Google rose 52%, sessions rose 56%, click-through rate went from 0.92% to 1.20%, and average position improved from 8.2 to 7.8. Conversion tracking was stood up for the first time and recorded 341 key events in month one.

Traffic grew 52%, and click-through rate and average position improved at the same time. Sites almost always dilute as they grow. This one concentrated. A measurable share of the new sessions arrived from AI assistants rather than from Google.

A medical courier operating across dozens of metros. One customer won through a single city page is approaching $3,000 a week in accounts receivable, roughly $150,000 a year, and has pulled the company into two new markets. Both of those markets already had pages built and ranking before anyone needed them. In Google Maps the company holds roughly two thirds share of local voice in its home market and the market next door.

Contractor Training Center, my own company. 360 keywords in the top three positions across 156 product pages. Sold to private equity, with the search asset material to the valuation.

Why me

I am a US Navy veteran. Three deployments, including Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, the Balkan wars, and the Middle East. I mention it because it is where I learned to run an operation with a real cost of failure.

Then I built and sold a company. That is the part that matters to you.

Most agency founders have never carried payroll on a business that was not an agency. They have never watched a buyer’s analyst pick apart their traffic and ask where it actually comes from. I have. It changes what you build. You stop optimizing for the report and start optimizing for the thing a buyer will pay a multiple on.

Strong digital infrastructure is a valuation multiplier. That is the whole thesis, and it is why my clients get an asset instead of a subscription.

How engagements work

  • Flat monthly retainer. Most B2B engagements start at $1,500 a month.
  • No long-term contract. If the work is not producing, you should be able to leave.
  • You own everything. Pages, accounts, data, all of it, from day one.
  • A dedicated Slack channel, not a ticket queue.
  • Monthly reporting on AI visibility, Maps share of local voice, and tracked conversions, alongside the usual traffic numbers.

Frequently asked questions

What does a B2B SEO agency actually do?

A B2B SEO agency grows the qualified pipeline a business gets from search. In practice that means finding the specific, high-intent searches your buyers run, building pages that answer them better than anyone else, fixing the pages that already rank but fail to convert, and making sure AI assistants like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews cite you when someone asks for a recommendation.

How is B2B SEO different from regular SEO?

B2B buying involves several people, longer cycles, and a much smaller pool of buyers. That makes raw traffic a misleading measure. A B2B page that brings 40 visitors a month can outperform one that brings 4,000 if those 40 are decision-makers with budget. B2B SEO targets the specific long-tail searches a buying committee runs, not the highest-volume head term.

How long does B2B SEO take to work?

Most clients see meaningful movement in 60 to 90 days, and compounding results after that. Technical fixes and title rewrites can move click-through within weeks. New pages targeting competitive terms usually take three to six months to mature.

How much does a B2B SEO agency cost?

Leedly engagements typically start at $1,500 a month, flat rate, with no long-term contract. Pricing scales with the number of markets, the size of the site, and whether paid and reputation work are included.

Do you work with companies outside Tampa?

Yes. Leedly is based in Tampa and I serve B2B clients nationally. Current engagements span dozens of metros across multiple states.

Can you get my company cited by ChatGPT?

Often, yes, and it is measurable. One client appears in over 90% of Google AI Mode answers for their main service term and roughly 9 out of 10 ChatGPT answers for their highest-intent term. The free AI visibility scan shows you where you currently stand across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini.
